I used the Ti Yamaha pegs a couple times a few years back when I rode blue bikes. Be careful what you hit with them because they don't give and bend like a a steel peg. They snap right off and will leave you with little to no peg to finish the day.

I too had an experience breaking a titanium peg on a Yamaha. Slow speed hit on a rock that I did not even feel.
