N2ZJ@2 Is super lean on middle. Today I will try N3CW @4 and N2ZJ@3 but with 175. I will post the results here.today I spoke with my friend and he got N8RW,just to se if that helps. N8RW @3 is like N2ZJ @2,5 right?

I often found a similar thing with the dual taper needles. They always feel a bit lean in the mid range. OK off the bottom, OK on the pipe, but a bit of a hole in the middle. The Suzuki NE needles have a 3rd taper that fills this void. Makes the power delivery more linear and less of a transition, and also supply much more fuel on the needle past 3/4 throttle (smaller main needed). |

First thing, I have found NEDW tomorrow is here.
So I have tried 42 n3cw@4 180. Too rich on needle, main ok. Bad idle also. Next I have change needle on @3,way better idle, bike take revs on neutral very clean,no bog. No road test ,was too late. What I found was a small hole and bad conection on cab rubber tube between carb an reed valve. So, if tomorrow I have improvement with this needle but is too soft/lean on @3 I have to change it with N3EW @4, right? I can't wait to try NEDW |

If N3CW#3 is too lean, N3EW#3 will be the same as N3CW#3.5

For now I tried n3cw@3 42 and 180. Is super quick, too quick , with good bottom. But after some investigations, tests I finde my real problem: choke ! Is mounted on handlebar, and isn't seal perfect on carb body. After some hard parts was unscrewed, and the bike fell super rich. Before trying any other needle I need to change the choke system.

Ahh the suspect choke!! That'll give you some strange inconsistent results for sure.
I think you'll find 40/42 N3CW#3 178-180 should be pretty close. Too quick!! Neverrr... |

When I say too quick I mean is very responsive and really brutal on high revs. Is fun but on frozen terrain isn't good idea. Can I do wheeles on 3/4 part of throttle easily, with this set up you can win some motocross contests ))
But,tomorrow arrive my NEDW,so I'm focus on this needle. |

So, I have changed my needle with NEDW on second grove, 42p ,175 main temp ~3?C-5?C alt. 400m-1300m. So far ,so good. I have to play a bit with air screw for best response, otherwise the bike super clean and hard. I like it! Very nice top end power. If now runs ok on second grove, on summer I need to go on first or cam I change only the pilothe jet? Or like my friend on his his husqvarna wr 250 2t 2004 ,he just play with air screw.

Given the cool temps you could try going a clip richer and seeing what you think.
I ride year around on the same jetting and usually see temps between 15-35C and lots of humidity. 200-1000M. |

After some rides bike runs good. A lot of bottom end ,good midle but I feel a bit to soft on top end, like too lean on man jet. My curent set up is 42 nedw@3 175 as 1.1/4 out. Isn't too big 178 main jet, will help this to have a bit more top end? With N3CW was oposite ,nice top end but not so good bottom end.
