wild 300 jetting
I've finally had time to start messing w/ the Gas Gas Wild 300 in which I had a custom pipe made for it. I have pilots up to 50 and main jets up to 188. I am going to order some and what sizes do you think I need to go up to in order to get this thing jetted perfectly? Also the pipe is leaking where the 2 connect. Do you have any ideas of clogging up the leak? I was thinking maybe exhaust sealant, heat wrap, and/or o rings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Temp, elevation, fuels, carb size, current jetting, current symptoms (spooge/smoke/burbling/hesitating). changes tried and results found already.
You need to provide info to start with or no one will know which direction to take in providing help. How is the mechanical condition of the engine? Rings? Reeds? Air filter? As for the leaking header, new o-rings and a high temp silicone works well. |

I run 175 mj and 48 pilot in the summer and 178 mj and 50 pilot in the winter with the stock pipe. I had a FMF Gold series SST from a 250r modififed to fit a GG Wild 300HP. Atv runs like new. It wouldn't start with the winter jets in it. The question is what jets should I buy to be safe. I don't want to have to pay for shipping and waste time not buying enough jets. And what jets should I start off with and work myself down?
