Default EC300 using plugs

I have a 2006 EC300 and up till about 3 weeks ago everything was fine. The bike suddenly started to use spark plugs....one every 2-3 hours.

Someone told me that the crankshaft seals need to be replaced, which i did and today still the same problem. The plug looks like it is still getting gear oil on it.

Is there some other seal some where that needs to be replaced too besides the crankshaft seals? Or what else could be causing the problem?

Does it use gear oil or put out heaps of smoke when running ? ( two positive signs of a r/h seal leak ).

In terms of the gear oil, not that i can see. There doesnt seem to be more spoke than normal.....so im alittle confused......

The residue on the plug does seem like gear oil.

Default using plugs

How long have you owned the bike? Just wondering in case it is relatively new to you and now temps are changing, or you are riding at diff. altitude.

Have you changed your oil mix? what plug are you using? when did you last clean your airfilter? is your spark arrestor clean.

Since changing crank seals didn't help, it's time to look at other possibilities.
