Default Plastic opinions please

thinking about a plastic change for my 250.... First off, I am not huge on graphics, but I dont see a way around atleast shroud graphics to make the seat look right.
I am also looking at trying to find a rear subframe/airbox like my 01 300 has.
this is a 2000 ec 250. any thoughts on what you would do if this was yours???

Wow, I thought I had the last pink bike out there! Change to '01 plastic, it is the real red like later models and will bolt right on. Check gofasters ebay site (or call them) and get a $30 seat cover (black w/gasgas logo on the back) and then you don't have to worry about the seat matching and can do whatever you want for graphics. What is differant about your subframe and airbox '00 vs '01? I thought they were the same or did someone change the '01 to side access?

not positive on the sub frame being different between the two bikes, but the 2000 does not have an air box door and the 01 does. maybe just the air box being different. i will check both side by side to make sure.
that is exactly what i am thinking about doing, the real red and that seat cover and a front disc guard...... My riding partners make fun of the little pink bike until i smoke past them on it... Kinda like the pink cr500 a friend of mine had, but i don't remember anyone making fun of it...

If it was mine, I'd run it! You bike looks clean and crisp!

I have been tooling with the idea, on my 99 EC 200, which is all yellow...which looks like an RM125??

thanks rick... the pictures are a little better than the bike looks.
the top parts of the fenders are way washed out pink and chalky looking.
I think it set outside in the sun for a time...
I was thinking about yellow and telling every one it was a 200....
Most people around here have never seen, much less know the difference, in the gg's.....

Yeah I think you need to beat that bike up a bit first.
