Yes. I am making the adaptor at the axle clamp so that the kyb rebound nut can mount where the sachs base valve used to mount.

So what a person needs to do this:
1. Kyb twin chamber inserts 2006-2013
2. Axle clamp adapter for sachs
3. Bottoming cone at bottom of kyb fork tube
4. Spring seat spacer at bottom of fork tube.

The kyb tc inserts fit perfect on the sachs upper tube. 50mm dia x 2mm pitch.

I will fit these and then let everyone know.

Rob

I am VERY interested.
My Sachs units (after re-valve) are almost perfect, but I just need a bit more plushness over the rocks.
I was on a Yamaha WR450 a few months ago. It was wallowing pig everywhere, but whenever I got into nasty loose rocks, I could just pin it and I felt like I was floating over the top. I need that feeling on my GG!!

I suspect thats a 4stroke weight thing working in your favor. I've ridden two Huskys back to back, a TE450 and WR250 with the same 45 Zoke fork, and you would think they were completely different forks. CC forks by nature are always a little less plush than OCs, there are more things to start moving and sources of stiction. As long as they are not abusive, don't deflect, and inspire confidence. Thats how I would describe the new Zokes with stock or close to stock valving.

Depending on the new Sachs on the beta you may have more market for these. I now have the ttx in my Sachs tubes but if the price for the adaptors is right I may get a set.

When you say kyb inserts is this how they are purchased (like ttx inserts) or is it the internals from eg yz forks?

I could be wrong, but the cheap source of KYB SSS internals is primarily from complete forks on ebay from parted out blown up 250Fs. That was my point about the axel and caliper adapter. That way your not limited to the Sachs upgrade market. I would think that there are a lot more guys with 45mm Zokes looking to upgrade than Sachs. Simple production numbers. The '07 through '11 platform with a KYB SSS will give up little to nothing to a new bike. Look at Ed Ventura's thread, nice job.
