Worn foot peg brackets
I have a 2007 EC300 and after swapping bikes with a friend the other day I became very aware that my pegs are angled slightly down. The holes that hold the foot peg pin are worn to the point of being slightly oval. So they allow the pegs additional range of motion, but in a bad way. I bet the only solution is re-weld the brackets and/or fabricate some additional support – and I’m neither a welder nor a fabricator.
Has anyone else experienced this? I did a few searches, but didn't find anything about worn or badly angled pegs. |
