Default Nissin Master

I have fitted a new front hose on my 2009 GG ec 250 as i blew a hole through the OEM..
i was squeezing the leavers whilst repositioning them, sat on the bike in the garden luckily, i felt the lever pull in further than normal a cupple of times then pichssshhh... it had been rubbing in the fork protecter & had worn into the ss bradding..the replacement has a metal coller gripped on to stop extra movement so check under that plastic clamp for any early sings of movement..

So fare i cant get a good firm feel back after bleeding nearly 500ml of dot 4 through by a few different recommended methods..
Wot is the sines or symptoms that a new master cylinder seal kit is required ? It is posable some dirt has traveled from the bleed nipple to the master cylinder

I have been successful bleeding a new front master cylinder 2 ways.
1 Use a vacuum bleeder to pull the fluid though - Use a lot of vacuum
2 Push the fluid up from the bottom with a syringe.

I have never been successful with normal bleeding procedures on a front brake

Method 1 is my preferred method.

Hope this helps

Have you tried ziptieing the front brake lever to the grip and let it sit overnight? That usually takes care of the air for me. Do that and then bleed it again a bit.

Otherwise I just use a syringe.

I did just rebuild the master on my '08 and it was well worth it, very crusty even though the bike is pretty clean overall. You may be due.
