-----

Just glancing through the translated press release. A 4 stroke 515 model will be available and the seat will be wider and softer on all models. Redesigned fuel pump/injection setup allows 1.5 liter greater fuel capacity on 4 stroke. "Battery-less" ignition setup on 4 stroke.

The FSR sure looks better than it used to. Not much changes for the 2T though, which is okay.

Here we go....

I want that new plastic, including the badazz headlight, on my 2005. I would only need the newer subframe. Right?

Subframe, airbox, seat, rear plastic, and a few other odds and ends.

Do a search, Berkyboy from GoFasters did a post on it a few months ago, with prices.

Not sure I want a wider seat, a shade softer maybe but not wider. Husky did this too, I like the narrow seats on them better.

Battery less injection is a good deal, as now you have the option to drop more weight by dropping the heavy battery and kicking (if they fixed that), or going to a lightweight NiMH or LiOn pack. Wonder how an EFI 4-stroke kick starts if the starter gear train is right? Looks good, now we need an FSR320!

I want the new headlight! Personally, I think the 07/08 model Gassers are a step above the rest. While I like my 01 EC200, the 07 EC250 is unreal. The new subframe, rear fender, seat and airbox are worth it alone, nevermind the improved handling and other odds and ends.

I'd be interested if GasGas would make a 300 or 350 thumper with EFI.

I would buy that! I believe that is the perfect size for an off road racing thumper.

The new look of the 08's is killer in my book. By far the slickest looking bike on the market. Not that we care about looks....
