1999 EC250/300 gearing
Well I just got my new to me (first time gasser) 1999 EC 250 out on the trail this weekend. I have to say I realy enjoyed the way the bike handled and the power the bike had. It has the MC (I am assuming this) 4 speed tranny in it. While I love the way it handles and the motor rips on top, it needs to be geared just a little lower. Currently I am running a 13/48 and would like to go to a 50 or a 52 rear. Before I do, I would like to know what gearing some of you guys are running and what you like. I also have to keep in mind that the 300 cylinder is being redone so eventually the bike will be a 300. I am a woods rider and love tight gnarly trails.
