My plans are to tear my 05 300 down and have a major rebuild.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the forks and shock, while I have them in pieces. I have always enjoyed the ride, but recently they seem to have become harsh over small lips/holes/ruts and a nightmare over rocks. After reading some other posts I think I have a rebound issue, I thought about it the other day while pounding over some rocks, but thought little of it as I am no pro sus tuner. (Zocks and Olins) I 65kg - 143 P All appreciated |

Check general condition of the shims, checkplate operation, and replace the rebound piston ring.

Thks
Can you give me any tips on how to check that the shims are OK. One thing that I know is that they have to be 100% flat, whats the best way? On a piece of glass or is "by eye" OK? |
