Hey, any 2-stroke looks good IMO

The fact that Husaberg is entering the 2-stroke market, although in KTM form, is certainly a positive.

With TM 2-stroke getting some play in the dirt mags, the realization that most woods and your average off-road guy is riding a 2-stroke is becoming a reality.

BTW, the TM is one sexy bike! And, I like the Husaberg's look. Reminds me of an 80's Suzuki RM (now that was a piece of crap bike!).

This is essentially the same bike as the 2011 Berg 2 stokes but with BNG and yellow frame. It does get CC forks that the KTM XCW (EXC in other parts of the world) does not. The KTM XC does get the CC forks. Also this 2012 Berg doesn't get the new frame that the 2012 KTM XC and XCW have which is really to bad as it's very good.

2012 Berg 2 strokes will be available in the US in a few months.

And for those who aren't aware the 2012 KTM XC's have linkage suspension now as well as all their MX bikes. Only the XCW/F models have the PDS.

thanks for that info.
it went from 2strokes with linkage to 4stroke w/o linkage and now back to ....well you know where this thread is going...back to what works imho.
i must confess that i did fall for the hype and bought into it hook, line, and sinker. but i did see the error and bail a while ago.

I really like the looks, but I have always been partial to the Swedish colors of blue and yellow. Ever since I saw the first Euros come over with their Hallman leathers in blue with the yellow stripe down the leg, you know the goat skin ones with the built in knee cups. And the old Monark 125 racers in the same colors. I just always thought those colors were the epitome of MX.

If there are improvements over the std. KTM and if it had linkage I would be very interested but as it stands, I think its really hard to beat what GasGas has to offer. Now if GG came out with a blue and yellow scheme, I'd be in
7th heaven.
