2011 SixDays 250 JD jetting (YZ kit)

Anyone running a JD jet kit for a YZ250 in their ASII carb? Curious what your settings are. I have the 38mm carb on mine. The recommended setting for the YZ kit is:

45 pilot
Red needle/3rd clip
172 main

Seems like a lot of pilot to me. It's 75-80f here now and we ride sea level to 1500ft.

I run a 45 in my 2010 Sixday 250. I cant figure out how most of the specs I see other riders running on this forum have such a lean pilot. My bike made more and better power by richening up the pilot.

Thanks. Are you using the Red needle as well and the recommended Main?

The jettting using those standard settings is pretty darn good. Very crisp. Gave the bike a little more bottom end and it rips up top.
