Thumbs up No More Rim Grease!

Any of you guys tried one of these yet?

http://www.pcracingusa.com/proseal.php

A few guys over on the KTM site swear by them and I think I am going to order one.

This would cure not having to use that nasty rim grease ever again.

Rim grease is "old school".
Last time I used rim grease was on my 1979 Yamaha IT 175.

I too would like to toss the bel-ray waterproof grease tub.And I'm thinkin of trying the no-toil thing next year also.Does the 2000 honda cr250 neoprene gasket fit a 05 de300??Then the filter would too right? What about the mounting bolt hole? Thanks for your replies!

I agree. Rim grease was useful when the filter cage/airbox designs were so bad that there might have been gaps there. I've been using Notoil for years and do not use rim grease even though it comes with their kit. IMO there is no point to rim grease other than tradition.

Me and a couple of my friends had bad luck with the No-Toil filters. After about 4 washes the filter was falling apart. I started using the ready filters from Cycle Gear and they work great except you have to buy a new one everytime you change out the filter. So now I have a UNI filter.

I use the 02-04 CR 250 filters in my 04 GG300 and they fit perfectly.
