Default new front axle on the 07/08's

I went to put my front axle pull on my new 08 and noticed the axle is different.
It is smooth not shaped like a six point socket and the inside diameter is also larger where the o ring on the pull is supposed to snug up. This bites I really like the axle pull. I'm guessing an older axle will fit but not sure, as my bike came with Excel rims and not sure if the hubs are the same.

All knowledge, experience, Ideas, suggestions, is appreciated.

Roscoe

GoFasters makes an axle pull for both styles of front axle.

Roscoe,

What do you think of the seat? Could you post a good photo of it? Thanks.

I just saw a 2008 EC300 at Okanagan Motorsports here in Summerland, B.C., CANADA: Excel rims, aluminum finish.

Hey Roscoe,

I just signed the customs papers for some product that is coming in from
Spain...One of the items is a new universal grab handle....should have in
house by the end of next week. Haven't figured out costs just yet...

Mark,

Hey Glenn I will post some seat pics in the pictures section along with a few of my new pride and joy.

I have never had an opportunity to sit on an 07 seat so I don't know how to compare it. But IMO it is heads and tails( no pun intended ) over my 06 seat that you could feel the seat base through on the rear portion.

I will say this thing is not soft which means it should wear well and it certainly helps make it feel like your riding the bike not riding in it. I like it very much but do stand the majority of the time. I don't know how it would feel sitting on it for a whole day of riding. I have yet to use it in real world riding yet, only around the yard.

Mark,
I could've sworn they had both types last summer when I got one for my 07. My axle has the hex inside so it wasn't a problem.
