Default Piston exhaust port bdc pic

Howdy,

After my tuner did the porting and head work i never bothered to look at piston height at bdc. It might actually go a hair lower than the pic, but would this be considered as good as flush or is there more top end to be had. Two green gaskets used, i assume gasgas oem ones, .3mm each.... uploadfromtaptalk1442164212333.jpg

Mine is just a little lower than that. I am running a single .5mm oem gasgas gasket.

I could have taken you a photo if you posted yesterday. Had my pipe off for vibey O-rings.

I run a single 0.5mm and have some piston above the port. Not as much as in your pic though. The dyno simms that TSP ran for me back when I first modified my 2010 model showed a much more usable power curve this way rather than gaining a little at peak RPM and giving up a whole lot in the mid range.
