Countershaft seal replacement

Is the counter shaft seal a standard item or dealer only? Mine seems to be damp around it and will need changing soon I imagine.

You can probably match it up at a bearing supply shop.

I would do the sleeve also at the same time. The seal can wear a groove in the sleeve, it would leak with the new seal.

In a pinch you can position the seal slightly not seated and wear new grooves in the sleeve.

Standard metric seal. I don't have the parts manual handy but I think the size is listed in the description. Also replace the o-ring, and be sure the sprocket fits tight enough to compress it, shim if needed.

I was a little confused at the parts breakdown as it listed the sleeve as a seal, but I see now how it works. Sleeve costs $25, seal $6, lol. These parts prices are inconsistent seems like.
