Cracked frame 2012 ec250

Has any one experienced cracks in the frame at the lower engine mount?

Bike is a 2012 ec250 with approx. 160 hours

Checked my 2013 with 166hrs. Couldn't see any damage.

I have noticed that the upper mounts have slacked themselves off once or twice during this time though.

Thanks. I cant see any reason why it would crack here.

My upper mount was loose for some time. Maybe this had something to do with it.

If you knew it was loose , why didn't you tighten it down? Vibration will travel fyi

I didnt realise as the nut was topped out on the bolt so it seemed tight. I had to space it out with a washer when i finally found the issue

Yes. I have a 2012 EC250 and cracked the right side lower frame close to engine mount. Not sure how as Arizona terrain can be nasty, but I also Moto with it. Pulled the motor and a good weld with no problems. From your picture it looks as though it was in the exact same place? Mine was the right side.

I would reinforce that area so it does not crack there again.

I ended up getting drilling holes into the frame where the cracks stop at an attempt to stop future cracks. I then had it tig welded.
