I was told rings don't bed in to Nikasil bores?

Yes, there seem to be similar technical backgrounds. Me too have seen a F1 report about the clutches they use and that they are allegedly looking a bit like motorcycle clutches with multiple friction plates. But I have never seen one to be honest.

What is harder.. the nikasil or the ring? Throwing two parts together there will be some break in occurring initially. and then just normal wear.
