Default 2005 VS 2011 Shock

Is the 2005 and 20011 Ohlin shocks the same length? I want to try my 2005 shock on my 2011 Race and thought I would ask the simple question before pulling the two bikes apart. Also if there are other differences I should be aware of let me know. The 2011 has the stock pull rods while the 2005 has been updated before I bought it. I'll measue both when I pull them apart.
