Default Counterbalace shaft gear Part # ME25612002

Discovered the previous owner removed the counterbalance shaft gear when pulling the motor apart to do the crank. The rest of it is still there intact.

I would love to make this a counter balanced engine again.

Thanks to Jim Cook I now know that the Part # ME25612002.

Anyone have a spare cb shaft gear for my 1998 ec250?

Checked with Halls Cycle (no luck) waiting to hear back from Town and Country. Longshot but reached out to GoFasters as well.

Thanks!
Vaughn

This might also cross over to part MQ300212002 based on my googling. Would be willing to check that out too if anyone has it, think it was on one of the Wild quads but is listed as crossing over to KTM as well?

Default Balance shaft

Anyone have a balance shaft or the part number for one? I have an aluminum frame swapped bike with an 05 300 motor in it. A buddy has a bottom end from a 97 that i can trade some things for. It has had the shaft taken out though. I would love to ride this thing without my hands going numb. Thanks guys

Check with the UK GasGas importer, John Shirt. He has been UK importer since day 1 and if he doesn't know then no-one will. They ship worldwide every day and have a massive spares inventory.

I ordered the following one because I thought it was the superseded part number for the original part number (ME25612002). Unfortunately the raised weighted section on the front of the gear hits the clutch basket. So without machining that's a no go.

Good luck on your search! My engine is going back together without the gear, as it didn't really vibe too much anyway. I have a weighted flywheel that helps some too I think.
