You should be able to gear your bike to cruise comfortably at 75 or 80mph and still smoke a DRZ. Your biggest problem will be pulling away without stalling.you should count the teeth on your sprockets or it should say on them. My 07 450fsr will do just shy of 100mph (im canadian so i've had it up to 155km/h) on the stock sprockets which I believe is 13/48. My buddy has a 09 drz 400 with 15/44 and he tops out at about 140km/h but I think that is because his bike doesn't have the power to go anymore, not because of rev limit. Both bikes can cruise at 70mph (110km/h) all day long.

I had a DRZ400 before, only did the base gasket mod, keihin fcr39, DEP exhaust, airbox mod. Managed 110mph on a flat and 116mph down a hill with the wind behind me (speedo and satnav indicated), so technically the gasser should be at least capable of the same!

Having owned a DRZ - i wouldnt have liked to have heard it at that speed presuming you were on semi-sensible gearing !

I have no GG dealer so what would I order?
