Piston photos at 4,000 miles

The last time I had a piston look that clean when I pulled the head it was because I had a blown head gasket and was sucking in coolant and burning it.

I could believe that, coolant will definately clean the piston and head off. Might explain what others say look like blowby in the pics though I don't find the pictures clear enough to make any assumptions.

Thank you Hydro Dog and Jostby for not jumping to conclusion's. I think you hit it right on the head "sucking in coolant" I don't know why I though oil. I must be getting dumber in my old age.I seen this before with leaking head gasket on cars.I also worked on propane engines and was always amazed how clean they were.I remember reading how the Germans injected water vapor to their manifold on their airplanes to help atomize fuel air because of their low octane fuel.Repairmen often commented how clean the pistons and valve-train were.Thank you Lance

aardouzie I'm glad you posted this because since this threads o.p. is pretty much dead and its also pretty slow on the forum, so dear members please indulge me on this topic of being nice. When did arguement , vigorous discussion and calling it like it is and doing the right thing become a crime? Sorry I dont buy into the Peter Pan hippy b.s. that is being passed of as decorum or good maners.I'm not suggesting the we name call or use foul language , that would be poor form.Please remember that democracy is an obligation not a privilidge bought and paid for in blood that requires constent tending and any real man that gets dressed down is going to suck it up and come back tougher and smarter to offer something more to the world of today and this message STARTS AT HOME then our community and our country. All you every kid a winner liberal hippy the government will do it for us assclowns with no stomache for reality can smoke a fat one and teleport themselves back into the dark ages for a reality check.Over the top for this forum?
