Default ec 250 speedo help

I have just changed the batteries on my ec 250 speedometer/computer (the older round shape one) Now it reads very high speeds about 50 mph when I'm only doing about 30 and the trip meter is also reading higher than it should. Does anyone know how I can adjust or re-calibrate it please? I've spent hours on Google with no results!

If I remember correctly, you take the battery out, then hold down the lower button on the left side and put the battery in. It's some strange combination of finger fumbling like that.

Default speedo help

The battery thing is to change from km/h to mph. The manual says "If you get the display to read "a 00" then you are in the rolling radius changing mode. you can "trim" the speed to run fast or slow. It ranges from "a-25" to "a 25". But it doesn't say how to get it to read "a00" I've been pushing these two poxy buttons in every combination for two days!

Bummer. Man, I don't know. Seems like there should be a separate manual on the speedo included in the new bike package. I don't have anything like that though.
