Thanks for the reply Obarski are they true to size? Is a 10 a 10 not to big or to small?

I have bad feet and toes that usually hurt with all street shoes, I just deal with it but I got a pair of Gearne SG10 and they are super comfy, wish my street shoes felt this good. I wear 13 street but got 14 in the boot, perfect fit.

The Alpinestars seem to be true to size for lenght and wider than street shoes, but with the buckles you can make them conform to your feet. I have wide feet and needed a wider boot, I tried on a few boots (can't remember which ones) that were too tight without the buckles closed. You can make a wide boot tight, but you can't widen a tight boot. Some of the Alpinestars come with an inner bootie, I thought those were all too tight. If you can, find a dealer who has a large stock, so you can try multiple brands/styles and compare them back to back. I tried quite a few before I found one that fit right.

Hi,
Watch out for Sidi's, at least the one's that I have are a little too narrow. My A-stars tech-6 fit me perfectly, once I went up to to size 10 from 9 1/2 whit is my size street shoes. Later

Stay clear of Oxtars too if you need width. Gaernes are generally nice and wide.

I sprained my left ankle in a pair of 5 yr. old Astar Vectors. They are more of a dual sport boot IMO and never did sinch up tight in the ankle area. Very comfy tho. I did a thorough research on mx boots and it ended up that the Garnae's out performed the Sidi's as far as longevity. Both are great boots. So I was able to find a website offering the GS10 in a size 9 for $289 with no tax and no shipping fee. They regularly go for $369.
I absolutely love these boots! Talk about protection everywhere... And they feel so good to my wide feet. I can sinch down my ankles now and can really feel the rigidity there and yet walk in them easily with the hinged ankle. I started my search on ktmtalk and kept going until I was satisfied with my choice. Also, they fit people with large calves. Much adjustment there.
