Default Japanese Plastic Color Matching

Please contribute any knowledge (photos would be great) that you might have on what model/year/color of Japanese plastic matches up with your Gas Gas.

EX: "I have a blue front fender from a 2010 YZ450F and it matches my blue 99 EC300 perfectly".

Aftermarket headlight & hand guard colors would also be great.

I searched, but have been able to find very little on this subject.

Thanks,

I think CRF 450 front fenders would work as well.

Do some more searching as there is a lot of discussion in this forum about headlight and plastic

As for other plastics I don't think you're going to find anything that will work

Other than front fenders...which are almost universal, anyway...there's the CRF front number plate used on newer bikes. Most Gasser owners(00-06 models) are aware that the rear plastics & subframe assembly from the 94-98. Kawi KX 250s will bolt right onto those earlier model GasGas enduro bikes.

I think you guys are misunderstanding the intent of my post. This forum has plenty of good info on what is compatible/bolt-up, but that is not my question.

What I would like to know is what colors MATCH (or come close) to the factory gas gas plastic.

So, if someone has a blue EC300 will a blue YZ250 front fender or a Polisport headlight be the same color?

Will a yellow YZ front fender match my yellow 02 EC200? Red CR250 fork guards on a red EC250? Etc...

This is pretty much limited to the front end of the bike, but I think it could still be very useful info for older GG owners.

Thanks

I have a yellow 2014 front fender and a yellow acerbis number plater that is made for a 2014 rmz450 on my 1997 yellow ec 250. It matches pretty good. Its basically the same yellow color but the new stuff has more of a glossy look. It really updated my bike.

Polisport uses the same blue for GG and Yamaha, if that helps.

My riding partner on Sunday was on a Yamaha and the blue of his YZF matched my '01 EC.... Is the bolt pattern on the front fenders the same? I tried using a white KTM fender I had laying around but the KTM pattern is significantly bigger.

I installed a YZ front fender on my 2002 XC300. Two of the existing four holes lined up, but it required drilling two new holes, either the front holes or the back holes, I forget. Regardless, it's only two holes, and you can copy the hole pattern from your existing fender.

Im not sure about this because my 97 ec250 has the Kawasaki kyb conversion with kawi triple clams. But my rmz450 front fender fits the kawi triple with very minor modification. And the rmz front number plate still clipped in like it is supposed to. But I would think any front fender would work but you might have to drill new holes.
