After market seat

Anybody out there try one of these on their bike? I could use a little softer seat for sure, and their prices aren't bad! Please anyone that has tried one let us know how it performed?!

Still waiting to hear if anyone has tried the softer seat foam that Guts is offering............it's goota be better than the stock brick that comes on these bikes?!

I got my tall seat foam from Jim at Smackover. Everyone that rides my bike coments on the LTR Ohlins F&R and the tall seat foam.

I have the Guts tall (soft) seat foam and cover on my 07 250 and I love it. It seemed a little firm at first for a "soft" seat but after riding it some it's perfect. - Ken

I'd like to do something with the seat, a little too hard for all day in the rocks. Problem is I'm only 5'9". Does the tall soft foam compress to approximately the same height as the stock foam? I'm thinking a soft stock height foam might compress against the seat base, as it looks thin in spots. I liked the foam on the '00 - '01 bikes, and had an '01 foam in my '03(too soft stock). Maybe the stock height medium foam is the way to go.

I ordered my 07 with the tall seat already installed so I can't compare it to the stock one. It does compress substancially so sitting leg reach will probably be unchanged from stock if the stock foam is anywhere near as hard as the foam in my 95 KTM 250 seat. I'm coming off a 01XC300 which I guess had a stock seat. It was a bit softer than the Guts tall/soft (comparing broken in to brand new) but I would get monkey butt if I sat down for more than 30 minutes on the 01. My sitting seat height on the 07 seems the same as my 01 but no more monkey butt. After my 1st day of riding on the Guts tall/soft I love it. - Ken
