cylinder crack
I have found a small crack in my cylinder wall near the exhaust port. These engines have no sleeve correct?

No sleeve, correct. But it is plated. When I sent my 2002 cylinder to Langcourt for plating, they fixed the crack in my cylinder. I would guess that you will have to replate after welding, so you might want to send it to a plating shop for an estimate.

Is it close to the plating? If you repair it, the plating may become damaged and may need repair (replate). I was just suggesting to send it to a shop who can fix the crack as well as replate, if necessary.

Painless. Highly recommend them over Millenium Technologies.

What issues have you had with millennium?

No real issues, per se, but I received much better pricing, turnaround, and personal service from Langcourt. Almost like Langcourt wanted my business and Millennium just wanted my money.
