Default FSE gearing

Wondering what kind of gearing everyone is running on a DS FSE? Mine is 12/48 and 55 is ringing its neck The gear box in this thing is a bit odd to me as theres not much spacing in the gears. Anyway just wondering what works best on these I was thinking of going to a 13 front but sprockets for these seem to be a bit odd/ hard to find.

Mine is a 05 450 FSE

13/48 to 52 is what quite a few people run. I've got 14/48 on my 300 and I'll never go back.

The gears sorta feel like they're further apart with the taller sprockets. Rocky steep single-track is quite doable still, just in lower gears now. Don't know what my top speed is, 80+

eBay is an ok source for front sprockets, Dennis Kirk as well.
