I am able to get 60 miles before reserve on my 300. That was jetted a little fat, in a high speed area.

Ok, I posted a comparison on KTM Talk, in the "what bike should I buy?". that ought to stir things up over there for a day or 2.

Bandit,

I never got it! but I forgot to ask anyway, & I was just in there tonite.

the 6-speed is great, so is the power, but it's the handling & suspension that really sold me on it--I can go alot longer w/o getting tired. the handling is so precise that it is kind of spooky. but it is weird to work on after so many years of KTMs, & the limited aftermarket requires some patience.

The biggest difference in maintanence hassles from a KTM is the linkage service. On the GG maybe a little more than a Jap bike because of the different size fasteners. What you will find however, is that the bearings are sealed much better than any other bike, by simple o-rings rather than small single lip grease seals. If you use moly paste on the linkage, and fresh o-rings, you can go a season on a linkage service if you keep the pressure washer away.
