Default Some more newbie Questions

Just purchased a 2003 ec 300, so here are my questions:
1.)The bike came with a Watchdog 2000 computer, but does not work as there is no magnet on the front brake disc. In looking around, I do not see any place for a "magnet" to mount on the disc. Please tell me where to mount the magnet!?
2.)I noticed some strange "star" looking bolts on this bike, can you find this tool anywhere? What is it called?
Im sure I will have a list of more, but now this is it.
Thanks!

Welcome and congrats on your 'New to you Ride'.

One of the bolts that hold your front disc on can be replace with a bolt magnet combo.

The bolt head I believe your looking at are called Torx. You can get a full set at your local hardware store.

Trailtech has rotor bolts with the magnet in the head. Your bike originally had a flat aluminum plate with a magnet attached with a small screw - look for a tiny threaded hole in your hub. Gofasters sells a really cool billet magnet mount too.
