Default 07 300

Wow you are lucky, i am still on my 04 300. Did you notice a large difference between each new year. When i look at new bikes, don't see much difference. Some say that they seem lighter, and shorter wheelbase.

they feel all about same. that 06 was first with a öhlins front and that 2 map ignition.

those bikes has seen awful a lot of misuse in finnish enduro
races and has hold together wery well.(about 200h/year racelike use in mud, stones, snow, ice etc , equals to 1200l of fuel/year)

1 race about 15 races a year with those bikes and with gasgas not a single DNF cause by the gasgas bike.

sorry about my awful english , i`m native handicapped

i have now about 450 hours of riding total with 3 different gasgas ec 300 and not a single engine fairlure.

i have open the engine for mainteance 4 times. 3 time piston ring and once a piston.

i start to use GRO racing1 2 stroke oil about 2 years ago and after that opening interval has grown to about 80-90 hour (piston ring).

piston ring end gap is about 0.5mm after 80 hour of riding and it`s about 0.3mm new .
