Porting...?
Has anyone had their gasser ported? The only evidence I've seen of a ported gasser is an ec250 powered go kart on YouTube claiming 70-80hp.
I'm thinking of making mine a fire breather for a laugh next time I do the piston as the barrel needs a replate and it would be rude not to . So, anyone tried it? Results?

Have you got a lnk to that video? There was a kart specific GG 250 engine years ago, with a different top end and balance shaft. http://www.250superkarts.com/GasGas250Single.htm

That would put it on par or better with the NSR500V GP bike twin ie; 2 250 cylinders so one of those. I struggle to believe that as its over double std.
But why would you want a road race tune? Unusable on the dirt and on the road just get a bigger engine. Would be cheaper in the. . . Well probably the short to medium term.

Peak at 11500. Now I really don't believe it. That means you'd have to cope with another 800 over-rev. Sure if it were a 250 V-twin easy.
