Default Newb here

Just made a deal on a 2014 xc250e. Pretty stoked. My last two bikes have been identical except for the production year, and I'm looking to add a bigger bike to the stable for hillclimbing, and lazy days...

Last bike
09 Husqvarna WR 165 - sold

Current Bike
13 Husqvarna CR 165 - Will probably never sell

How do you guys that own this bike like it?? I strayed away from the 300 because I don't want to ride 2 gears high, sitting down all the time...

Thank you BowHunter, Yes exactly what I mean. A 300 would make me lazy. I'm not saying you can't ride them aggressively, I just don't think it suits my style as much as 250.

Yes, Marc, It is indeed me! You still hanging around these parts??? I still get pissed when I think about your gas-gas being jacked.....

Hey Blake

You and I both. It looks like I am going back to KTM and buying a 13 450XCW. You are going to love the Gas Gas! If you have any questions, I am here.

Welcome to the fold....where in OR do you call home?

There are a few of us Oregonians in the mix, I'm south of PDX and ride Tillamook 95% of the time; have now logged over 100 hours on my '11 EC200 since Nov '13

Oh yeah...the bike doesn't truly exist until you post pictures...LOL.

Haha, I know, the bike doesn't exist, until I have it!!! Trust me, as soon as I get my little paws on it, I'll post pics... It's gonna be a couple weeks. Still in the contract phase, but getting excited. Talked with Richard at House of Horsepower yesterday for about 30 minutes. Sounds like there is lots of good support out there for this brand, which is my main concern.

One of my main reasons for the gas-gas route, is my favorite dealer, Bills Motorcycles Plus, in Salem, starting stocking this brand, and I love how they run their business.

I live in Tigard, I ride the burn 75% of the time. Ride Hood River the second most, and then travel as much as i can with the bike.

Chances are we've run into eachother up in the burn, and may even have some common riding partners.

I've been drooling over the '14 200 Bill has for a while, he's good people and did me right on swapping linkage bearings out for me a few weeks ago.

We're practically neighbors, I'm down in Sherwood...lol. Usually stage out of Diamond Mill, Cedar Creek, or Jordan...probably run across each other at some point out there

Look forward to seeing pics and then on the trail if it works out
