Replacing clutch fluid with DOT5.1 ?
Getting ready for the first ride this year, and would like to change the clutch master cylinder fluid but I only have DOT5.1 witch I use for the breaks.
Usually I go with the rule that you can put 5.1 if the cylinder is rated for 4. But on the AJP clutch cover all it's says is 'use mineral oil' no DOT number. Am I safe to use 5.1 ? Thanks, Dorin
