I went riding with a girl on a KTM200 a few weekends ago. After helping her through a mud hole, I'll take my GasGas 200 over the pumpkin any day. My bike feels waayyy lighter than the KTM. Her's was an 06 versus my 01 GasGas.

By the way, is GasGas still making the 200 for 2007? All the other models are up on www.gasgasmotos.es except the 200.

I had a KTM200. It is definately lighter than the GG, despite how it may feel, its based on a 125 vs. a 250. I thought mine felt pretty light. My KTM 200 observations: The KTM is fast, with good low end but more hit. They vibrate BAD, worse than my KTM 300 did. When its on the pipe my hands would go numb. The flaws in the PDS suspension were enhanced by the bikes light weight, it was still very harsh after several valving attempts. My 300 was better. I'm sure the newer ones are much improved, but I doubt as good as the GG Ohlins/linkage. FWIW, my Cannondale Ohlins PDS was very good after Les set it up for me. Very plush, just lacked versitility.
