hi for sale is a 2002 gas gas 400fse endure . I got this as a project as I wanted a light weight bike to do enduros a few weeks ago sadly im looking at redundancy so need to save some money .

its tax and tested

receipts for a full engine rebuild last year and other receipts .

Full Engine rebuild
1. New con rod, big end

2. Cams re-profiled

3. Re-shimmed

4. Gearbox bearings, selector spring

6. Piston Circlips

5. All gaskets

Other

1. Front fork seals, new oil.

2. New Iridium spark plug

3. New chain

4. New Sprockets

5. New front brake pads (not yet fitted)

BIKE HAS 8 MONTHS MOT & 11 MONTHS TAX
This bike has only undergone around 6 hours of usage since all the work has been done.

Overall this is a very good Enduro machine, tonnes of torque and fantastic throttle response (fuel injected) It is in good condition for a bike of its age and nature.

I rode this bike 30 miles home and it was great .the next day I couldn't get it to start (im not used to kick starts) and have not had it going since .I know nothing about fuel injection but the plug seems to be bone dry .I read up a lot before getting this and most people think they are a awesome machine .

I do know it needs the following

starter sprag clutch (new starter but just spinning ) common fault on gasgas

front sprocket oil seal (new one supplied just not got round to fitting )

rear brake light switch (one wire needs re soldering )

a general tidy up as it is a off road bike .


I am gutted about selling this but its a choice between this and my ktm adventure (it may be both yet ) but it means someone can get a bargin .

I am open to offers for a quick sale or will break if enough interest . feel free to come and view .
