Engine mounts on to frame

Have just brought new 450fse and have developed cracks in welds where the front engine mounts bolt on to frame ?Oil is seeping through from oil well wilst motor is runing?My dealer says bring it in[bike] an he will put some plastic metal on it, sounds a bit dodgy to me has anyone else had any probs with this engine mount?
