Default Exhaust spring

My exhaust spring is resting against the side of the pipe this is my 2nd pipe and fits a little different.

Was thinking wrap it in heat proof exhaust bandage or just stick some hose over it and see how it go's.

Anyone else have the same problem what did you do?

Mines the same & the rattle got annoying so I put plastic hose pipe over it.
BUT - it eventualy melted, so I'm after something a bit more heat tollerant, silicon hose maybe...???

I use electrical heat shrink cut to the length of the spring. Slide it over, mount the spring, shrink it with a heat gun. Doesn't prevent the spring from keeping tension, it's thin, won't melt.

New exhaust orings, heat proof silicone heat shrink on exhaust spring = no annoying exhaust rattles.

Can you take off the exhaust flange and attach the spring from the inside out so the body of the spring is further away from the pipe?
