Default Zip Ty extended air screw

OK guys, I am tired of having to stop and get into my fanny pack for that screwdriver every time I want to fool with the air screw.

I bought and tested this extended aluminum air screw from Zip Ty racing. The only thing I can say is why did I wait so long before I bought one? It sticks out far enough for you to use with a glove on, just reach down there and turn it! The end is knurled for grip too.

I would also buy the little o-ring kit and washer for $3.95 that they sell for the 4 stroke carbs to add to yours if yours leaks premix around the air screw. Mine did and after adding the o-ring it does not.

A+++ for Zip Ty!!

What carb do you have, and did you buy the long reach or short reach screw?

Thanks.

I have the older Air Stryker II, the long body one with the old black round screw on cap. I bought the Short reach air screw, p/n AMS-02.

After install, I think I could have gone with the long version. I can turn the screw just fine when I am riding by reaching down and feeling for it, even with my gloves on. The longer one would come out maybe flush with the frame tube, but I didn't want to catch it with boot and break it off.

This screw really is convenient, I didn't realize what a pain it was to get the screwdriver out every time I wanted to adjust it. And what a pain it is to stop, find neutral, get the screwdriver from your pack, lean over and find the screw, then drop the screwdriver, then get off the bike, stall it out, put the screwdriver back in your pack, start the bike, now you are sweating harder, etc...etc....
