Default Sachs shock valving 2011

Gday, just serviced my shock, I fitted a gold valve ( mainly for the valving, to start somewhere) and replaced the res piston with a bladder from checkpoint off road, which is a great mod for ease of bleeding, and slightly nicer response.

The stock valving was straight from the standard Sachs play book. Straight stack, single stage, the valve is restrictive as well.

Stock:

Comp

6x44x.2
42
40
38
34
32
28
26
22
(all.2)

Reb

4x38x.3
36x.3
34x.25
30x.25
26x.25
20x2x.25

The result is better, plusher and better bottoming resistance and doesn't have the boot in the pants feel. I liked the stock valving but this is better. The valving for the gv is quite different but you'd need the gv for it to work.

I used silkolene rsf 2.5

I removed the check valve as well.
