I don't think it's the bike, it's the people you're buying from! Or you need to check them more carefully.
My history with Gas Gas:
EC300 - no problems
EC200 - no problems
FSE450 - no problems

I exclude expected maintenance and things broken crashing.

funny, i was rereading some of my old threads.. i ended up getting rid the ec200 and am have been putting some serious time on my 400.. Loving it!!!! It was service and FI dialed in by Sean at Skagit Powersports.. Just had the suspension redone by www.konflictmotorsports.com great guy, and knows gassers as well.
