Thanks for the offer jostby . But after what you said about the mount rubbing holes in the fuel tank . I think I would be better off designing one up that doesn't interfere. Or might even not run one at all if I can get away with it. Anyone have a issue with not running this mount?
I just ran out to look at my tank . There is a nice notch wore out were the bolt has been rubbing.

The mount is not a problem if you use a short bolt, and will only touch if the pipe is bent. I had one that was close. I cut a strip of plastic, formed it in a "U" shape, drilled a hole in one side, and bolted it to the pipe mount so it wrapped around the back and protected the tank. Worked fine.

I had to move (cut and reweld) the mount on my FMF pipe when my bike was new , to get it not to hit the tank.........
