I just recieved a new Wiseco piston from a supplier to go with the nice cylinder I aquired from Steve@ Motowest, Thanks Steve, good stuff. Anyhow i decided to measure the new piston and check the end gap on the rings, something I allways do none the less, Wiseco's been pretty good about their quality in the past few years but better to be safe than sorry right? I happened to notice that the rings said made in Taiwan, ok all the more reason, turns out the ring end gap was only 5 thou, had I slapped it together without checking ,Bye ,bye nickasil. Moral of the story?
