Making a 450 into motard
Hi Guys, I want to change my 2004 450 into a motard for riding to work , has anyone done this and apart from rims and tyres is there anything else i should look at doing all help is much appreciated

There is a factory supermoto model, you can always look at that.
If you are going for the 17" rims, you'll probably want a smaller front fender and a smaller rear sprocket. Then if you want a true SM look, a larger diameter front brake rotor and a six piston brake caliper. Or you could just fit dual sport style tyres on your enduro rims, say Pirelli MT60? These will carry you safely over gravel/dirt roads too. |

Thanks mate , didn't think it would be to hard . I think I'll just change the tyres so I can change it back easier for sale - new bike isn't an option at the mo

Oh, I didn't mean that you should buy a new bike! I meant that you could look at the pictures of FSE450SM at the factory site for Inspiration!!!
