I just rolled my 18 on the bathroom scales. Had to do the shonky measure front, and then back, and then add together. Came to 111kgs with a couple L (maybe quarter tank) in it. Ptech rad braces, P3 pipe guard, AXP bashy.

Just curious, how does that compare to your 13?

I guess I could throw the tank back on the 13 and roll it on too. I might get it on the scales today for ya!

Yup. Thats about where I'm at too with the bathroom scale trick. Although my bathroom scale reads a little high compared to the doctors..
I was about 152lbs/114.5kg with a full tank of gas, full wrap handguards, EE aluminum skidplate, EE rad guards, and an EE shark fin.

Interestingly, the weights at the rear are very similar. The 13 carries a few more kgs up front.

Total was 117kgs on the 13, also with about a quarter of a tank of fuel, P3 pipe guard, OEM bashplate not fitted but hardly any weight there, and force rad braces.

That's interesting, helps with my new bike decision. Thanks Jakobi

Yeah very interesting indeed. Doubled checked my figures and the 13 was acutally only 116kgs.

The 2018 weighed 58.5kgs at the rear vs 59kgs on the 13.
Up front 52.5kgs vs 57kgs

The stator and flywheel was off the 13 as well, so I simply added the extra kg onto the front. I also realised I have left the headlight etc off the front of the 13 along with the bashy (probably why I made it 117kgs).

I would have expected a significant weight reduction to be seen in the rear given the swingarm changes, but I guess the chassis must load the front end more than the back.

I've never been one to care too much about weight. I could probably afford to lose 4.5kgs myself!

I really hate to get away from GasGas since I have tons of extra parts but I really want a lighter bike for personal health reasons . What does that new Ranger model weigh in at ? I will call tomarrow to GasGas and find out . I am phasing out there trials bikes because they can be misarable to start . I will let you know what they say .
