Yeah Chandlerville is 95 or so miles for me,it's just a fact these days if I want to ride I got to drive to get there. Closest singletrack is 50 minutes away at Dirt Riders inc. clubgrounds Oakley,il. Thanks to state farm expanding over the years all my old stomping grounds are subdivisions filled with mcmansions and escalades now.

Default Bragging rights, 2013 edition

Again a season's racing is over. Last year we had a long thread about the season's results.
http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13673

for 2013 I guess it will be hard to beat the impressive number one plate ?
http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=16488

In any case, please post your good and not so good racing results.

I happened to share the stage with the subject of the above thread; i won the Novice C Enduro Class ( Yes that is the lowest class and the Womens A riders would be a lot faster than me). It was my first season racing anything, at the youthful age of 47. I had a lot of fun and look forward to this year.

I do expect sponsorship offers to be rolling in; I am in an important demographic ( old, out of shape etc). Hey Clay ! new jersey. jacket.... used grips ????

Took home 1st overall in the over 50 class of our VIHSS island hare scramble series . The only thing better was rooting for my 13 yr old who came in 2nd overall in his first full year of racing jr under.
Interestingly all 3 top spots in my class were won on gasgas enduros, props to gasgas pacific our local shop.

I participated in the national Norwegian enduro series in the veteran (above 50) class. I did 3 out of 4 races and ended in 9th position (of 15 competitors completing one or more races).

I am looking forward to this year's racing, my goal is to do all the national races and improve my total result.

I also raced the Gotland Grand National, where I ended up as number 243 out of 330 in the above 50 class, and 1929 out of 2445 total.

Raced B-open this year in the East Coast Enduro Association. I am very happy with 2nd place in the championship. We have a long season here 15 enduros! By the end of the season I was sick of riding!
By the way I didnt notice my Gasser being heavy!

As long as we are getting a chance to brag......I did the rookie session at the Vegas endurocross. Its not the obstacles themselves that is difficult, it is continuing riding over all of them. So now I can get that knocked off of my list of things I wanted to do. And in doing it, it made me really think hard about wether I would train to do it ever again. 30 seconds into the course I wanted to vomit.
