flywheel removal..

evening all.

my wife and i both have gasgas's.

Mine is purely for off road use only but my wifes is road registered here in the uk. I want to send it through an mot but at present the lights, horn and speedo does'nt work. I have traced this back to no power coming from the stator, however mine does put out power.

The plan is to swap mine to hers. Mine is a 05 ec300 and hers ec200 03.
I removed both ignition covers and that is as far as i got, im having trouble removing the centre nut on both, neither will break free, and i've tried both ways.
They both have 2k-3 ignition

Anybody got any tips to send my way?

Flywheel nut thread is M12 x 1.25 right hand thread torqued to 52 ft-lbs.

Maybe it's time to try an electric (or air) impact tool to get it undone.

You will need a flywheel puller with M27 x 1.0 left hand thread to attach to the flywheel. That will do the removal.
