Default Coolant leak

Hey guys .. i recently finished doing the top end on my 09 EC 125 .. anyway filled the coolant up and there seems to be a leak but i cant work out where from .. the bike hasn't been started yet so am i right in thinking it's either gotta be a hose or rad ? As the coolant won't be circulating the cylinder etc yet with it never been started yet ?

Honestly can't tell .. took the exhaust off to get a better look , but seems to be around the coolant pipe that goes across the top of the cylinder head .. it's going in the shop tomorrow instead fook it they can sort it for me lol

There's a gasket on that pipe. Maybe bad.

That gasket is notorious for leaking. A little wipe of silicone on the mating surfaces usually helps. I have to take a light file to the sealing surfaces while fighting a leak on my 2001 300, so check it for flatness as well.

I'm sorry, I now see you have a 125. It doesn't have the gasket like the 200-300cc bikes.

Does your cylinder head look like this?

Disregard my reply, as the 200/250/300 head is different than the 125. Apologies for the confusion.
