Default KTM disk guard fit GasGas?

Any one heard or seen of this company before?
http://www.toparracing.com/
Yesterday was the first time I've seen or heard about
their products.
I mentioned to a friend from the "Orange side" that I was
interested in the Flatland front disk guard for my 2002 XC300
with the WhitePower forks and Nissin caliper. He pointed
me towards a gurad he is using on his bike.

Any idea if this KTM product would fit our GasGas'er?

How about their rear disk guard and caliper guard?

Thanks, Jeff, So. Cal.

Thumbs up

Jeff,
I don't know about this front disk guard, but the trouble we had mounting previous front disk guards (made for KTMs) on Gassers with 43mm WP inverted forks was that the guard often used the brake caliper mount bolts for it's mounting points.
The similarly forked KTMs use Brembo brakes, and different caliper carriers than the GasGas bikes with Nissin brake calipers.

For the Acerbis Spider guards, the mount would have to be customized.

Any, this is the point I would check with these guards.

Jim

Thanks Jim. Yes I tried to mount the Acrebis spider guard you mention.
It came with the KTM adapter and it tries to use an external thread on the
front axle. Where as the GasGas wants a 10mm internal thread. This would
be an issue with Topar unit if it tries to use the O.D. of the axle the same
as the Acerbis guard. I think I need to make a call and ask some questions
from the folks at Topar.
Thanks for your insight. I'll post a follow up here if this works for our application.
This looks to be a slick design.
One after thought. I wonder if the KTM axle is the same diameter and the
same over all length as the GasGas unit?!?!?! with the same offset for the
wheel hub.....
Cheers, Jeff
